Jason Hope continues to grow a passion of giving back to his community and focusing on his passion for technology. This passion has led him to the SENS foundation. This foundation focuses on preventing issues related to aging before they happen. Some of the aging issues include Alzheimer’s, heart, and lung diseases. He believes these studies will cause people to live a more full life while they are here on earth.
It also led him to the internet of things. The internet of things is computer devices embedded in everyday objects, which enables these objects to send and receive data. The goal, he believes, is for the internet of things to help increase efficiencies and decrease waste.
The competition that will be created from the internet of things means that before we know it, almost everything will be connected. This means before we even get out of bed we can turn our coffee makers on and warm up our cars, turning the light on in the living room while we are at it. From an energy standpoint, if our crockpot needs turned down and we are at work, the phone will let us know and we can save energy by putting it on warm mode.
This is the tip of the iceberg. Railroad will not have as many issues, as they can connect with one another if there is an issue, public transportation will get better causing less pollution and traffic on the roads and emergency response teams can get to a home better with GPS tracking. With the Internet of Things and the help of Jason Hope, life will soon be better for all.
